Sample screenshot of my app demonstrating the overlapping screens.
Originally from here: https://forums.xamarin.com/discussion/comment/164159#Comment_164159
"Basically, I've got two screens displaying at the same time. The blue is a list view on a page that was pushed on top of the background page (PushAsync) by touching on a control on the background screen. Doing a push Modal doesn't replicate so it seems limited to just Push.. Other interesting thing seems to be that this bug in my application only shows up on the first time that the user logs in so from a navigation perspective, it adds on Modal push and pop sequence before arriving at this screen.
It's clearly reproducible on my app in 1.5 XF. Wondering if this has been seen elsewhere or if this is bug territory. Assume the latter at this point but I could be doing something."
I can reproduce the issue but I don't have a project to reproduce the issue. But when pushing a content page onto the navigation stack, I get two screens to appear on top of each other. Basically, the "previous" screen is visible beneath.
This doesn't happen when pushing in modal.
The solution was to set the pushed page's background colour to white.
What's strange is that the behaviour is different if the user is navigating through my login page or not. The login page is pushed modal then popped. Then the rest of the application goes through it's usually motions.
There isn't anything really going on particularly fancy in the application. Just a series of pushing some basic screens around.
Let me know if I can be of more help in diagnosing the issue.
Is this occurring on more than one platform (as the screenshot is showing it on Android), and do you have a small reproduction sample to upload by chance? I know that you mentioned having a login page which may complicate it a bit, but anything you can provide would certainly be appreciated in investigating the issue.
Thank you for your bug report. As we have not received the information requested, we cannot properly triage your bug and are marking it resolved.
