Create a storyboard
Add any view (label, image, etc.)
Leave zoom level at "actual size"
Observe when you drag the object to the edges or near the center, lines appear to suggest where it will snap, and it does so.
When you drag objects to other places, they drop where you let go.

Now zoom out a bit.

The objects will no longer drop where you place them.

Snapping/alignment indicators don't show up when you drag near the edges, but somewhere near by, there will be an invisible edge that triggers them to appear. They'll appear in the correct position though, and when you let go, the object you

(sorry misclicked save)

The snap guides visually appear in the correct location, but where you have to hold the object is completely different. Then when you let go, it snaps visually to where it "should" given the snap guides.

I believe this has already been fixed internally and should ship as part of the next release.
