RESOLVED FIXED

Description xamarin.site 2015-10-27 11:30:03 UTC
Hello,

During Xamarin for VS install, I got an error message because the group "Users" does not exist on my computer, which is correct since my computer is in French and the default users group is named "Utilisateurs".

Work around: Create a user group named "Users" on your computer and add your account into it.

System:
W10 build 10565, installed last week in fr-CA, then migrated to fr-FR.
Xamarin installed by VS 2015 installer, the error occurred when updating to latest version of the alpha branch (a couple of minutes ago).

This issue should be fixed in current cycle 7 (XVS 4.1.x) public version, which is in the Beta channel.

I'm marking the bug as resolved, but if you do still seeing this issue please feel free to reopen the bug and we'll investigate further.

Thanks for reporting!
