RESOLVED NORESPONSE

Description David Ferguson 2012-02-17 09:47:06 UTC
See the follow command:

dferguson@dferguson-U:~/.local/bin $ certmgr -list -c
Mono Certificate Manager - version 2.11.0.0
Manage X.509 certificates and CRL from stores.
Copyright 2002, 2003 Motus Technologies. Copyright 2004-2008 Novell. BSD licensed.

Unhandled Exception: System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Array index is out of range.
  at Mono.Tools.CertificateManager.Main (System.String[] args) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
[ERROR] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Array index is out of range.
  at Mono.Tools.CertificateManager.Main (System.String[] args) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

This succeeds if I specify Root (store name)

dferguson@dferguson-U:~/.local/bin $ certmgr -list -c Root
Mono Certificate Manager - version 2.11.0.0
Manage X.509 certificates and CRL from stores.
Copyright 2002, 2003 Motus Technologies. Copyright 2004-2008 Novell. BSD licensed.

The help documentation of certmgr --help might be beneficial to have more info about what should be specified for the store.

Andreia, in the last GHOP (that Mono participated) a lot of the tools were updated to use Mono.Options but I don't think this was ever push to Mono ?

I have the same issue:

mono -V
Mono JIT compiler version 3.2.8 (Debian 3.2.8+dfsg-4ubuntu1)

certmgr -list CRL
Mono Certificate Manager - version 3.2.8.0
Manage X.509 certificates and CRL from stores.
Copyright 2002, 2003 Motus Technologies. Copyright 2004-2008 Novell. BSD licensed.

Unhandled Exception:
System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Array index is out of range.

[ERROR] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Array index is out of range.

@Marek, it's completely bonkers to close issues with "haven't received info" when you haven't asked for it.

Stop auto-closing issues and solve them instead!
