Broken UI with iOS SDK 9

My Monotouch.Dialog elements are displayed weird after compiling with iOS 9 SDK and XCode 7.0.1.

With iOS 8 SDK and XCode 6 everything was fine.

Please see this forum entry for comparison pictures:
http://forums.xamarin.com/discussion/54293/strange-visual-behaviour-with-monotouch-dialog-splitview-and-ios-9-sdk

Or see the picture attached here. You can see the not correct behavior there.

It does not matter if it was compiled with Xamarin Studio on a mac or with Visual Studio with Build Host.

The code of Monotouch.Dialog or the SplitViewController was not changed between iOS SDK 8 and iOS SDK 9.

Customer was able to resolve this issue by setting "Deployment Target" to 9.1 per non-public report https://kb.xamarin.com/agent/case/227946.
