Comment 1 Jon Goldberger [MSFT] 2015-10-19 14:59:08 UTC
Additional note:

Build error does not occur with either "Link All Assemblies" or "Don't Link" linker options. Also this seems constant regardless of the Configuration|Platform combination selected.
Comment 2 Rolf Bjarne Kvinge [MSFT] 2015-10-20 06:56:58 UTC
The fix is to rebuild the component with Xamarin.iOS 9.0.1.

A broken API was introduced in Xamarin.iOS 9.0.0, which was reverted in 9.0.1 (mentioned in the release notes: https://developer.xamarin.com/releases/ios/xamarin.ios_9/xamarin.ios_9.0/#2 as bug #34213); rebuilding with Xamarin.iOS 9.0.1 will ensure the component builds with the correct API overload, instead of the broken one.
Comment 3 Mark 2015-10-23 06:20:37 UTC
I still get this error using Xamarin.iOS 9.0.1.

Failed to resolve "ObjCRuntime.INativeObject Foundation.NSMutableDictionary::get_Item(ObjCRuntime.INativeObject)" reference from "Xamarin.iOS, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=84e04ff9cfb79065"

Playing with linker options do not make any difference.
