Screenshot showing the handles I'm trying to change.
When I double-click a margin handle to enter in a new margin value, I no longer get a text box for keying in a value.
As a workaround, I can set margins from the Property pane.
I'm on the Alpha channel, Xamarin Studio 5.10 (Build 811), XA 18.104.22.168.
I have checked this issue and able to reproduce the above behavior given in the bug description. When double click on a margin handle then I am not getting text box for enter a value.

We have checked this issue with Stable XS 220.127.116.11 and getting same behavior.
Bumping milestone as the cause for this behavior is known, Jeremie will be providing a more detailed update here.
So due to the way we now use the native surface, we haven't kept the support to embed property entry (like this margin editor) directly onto the surface.
It's something we might revisit in the future under a different form but that feature should be considered gone in the meantime.
Thanks for the report!
OK, I'll just remove the following legacy line from the Designer doc and all will be good:
"To enter a value for a margin, double-click a handle and enter the value in the text box that is displayed."
