When you select a widget from a docked Document Outline pad in the same section of a docked Properties pad (meaning you have to tab to get to each pad), the Properties pad quickly displays the properties and then they disappear.
If one or both of the pads are auto-hidden OR the Properties pad is in a different section of MonoDevelop than the Document Outline pad then this problem does not occur.
Steps to reproduce:
- Make sure you have Document Outline and Properties pads enabled and docked in the same section of MD so that you have to switch tabs to see each pad
1. Create a new GTK project
2. Open the MainWindow designer
3. Select the MainWindow item in the Document Outline pad
4. Select the Properties pad tab
Notice that the properties of the MainWindow quickly appear and then disappear
The Properties pad should display the MainWindow properties and not be a blank pad
This is occurring in both Windows and Mac:
Windows: (from assistly case 7374 - md feedback)
Runtime: Microsoft .NET v4.0.30319.239
Operating System: Windows (Microsoft Windows NT 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2)
Fixed in master and newresolver branch.
