Description Jason Smith [MSFT] 2015-10-01 23:06:32 UTC
Xamarin.Forms does not currently support usage of an AppCompat derived activity. This limits the users ability to match modern Android look and feel.

This has been fixed in 1.5.1-pre1

I have checked this issue with Xamarin.Forms 1.5.1-pre1 and observed that Xamarin.Forms does support AppCompatActivity.

Hence closing this issue.
