RESOLVED FIXED

Description Ota Mares 2015-09-23 11:48:13 UTC
After updating the Xamarin Google Play Services - Maps from the stable version 25.0.0 to
the latest RC 26.0.0-rc4 we are getting following error that prevents us from
compiling the app:

ExtendedMapsRenderer.cs(41,41): Error CS0012: The type `Android.Gms.Maps.GoogleMap.IOnCameraChangeListener' is defined in an assembly that is not referenced. Consider adding a reference to assembly `Xamarin.GooglePlayServices.Maps, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' (CS0012) (RebuyApp.Android)

Our project is based on Xamarin.Forms 1.5.0. The code affected by the issue is
a custom renderer (i omitted the class body):

using System;
using Xamarin.Forms;
using RebuyApp.Common.Views;
using RebuyApp.Android.Renderers;
using Xamarin.Forms.Maps.Android;
using Android.Gms.Maps;
using System.Collections.Specialized;
using RebuyApp.Maps.Models;
using Android.Gms.Maps.Model;
using Android.App;
using Xamarin.Forms.Platform.Android;
using Xamarin.Forms.Maps;
using RebuyApp.Maps.Formatter;
using MapsPosition = Xamarin.Forms.Maps.Position;
using Android.Content;

[assembly: ExportRenderer(typeof(ExtendedMaps), typeof(ExtendedMapsRenderer))]
namespace RebuyApp.Android.Renderers
{
    public class ExtendedMapsRenderer : MapRenderer
    {

    }
}
