RESOLVED FIXED

Description Joakim Carselind 2015-09-10 04:51:50 UTC
I have set the keyboard type to the entry cell to `Numeric` and running swedish culture the decimal separator "," is not written to the field when pressed.

I created a custom renderer where I set the `Control.KeyListener = DigitsKeyListener.GetInstance("0123456789,.");` and then it works as expected.

The list of possible digits should probably be resolved using the CurrentCulture.NumberStyles to check for allowed decimal separator and thousand group separator.

Configuration:
Xamarin.Forms 1.4.4.6392
Visual Studio Emulator Android Lollipop 5

I can reproduce the ',' button not functioning when setting the Android system language to Swedish and using a keyboard with the Numeric setting. If you want to provide any sort of project sampling what you've personally done it could always be of help.

Here is how I solved the problem. Added some comments about how to progress if to implement this in Xamarin.Forms.

Sample app with decimal separator issue

Hi,

I've done a sample test using X.F 2.3.1, setting the language to es-ES, and the issue is still happening. I don't know whether this is problem on my app or Xamarin.Forms.
