With a new WatchKit app, it fails to launch on the simulator the first time. A second attempt seems to work OK.
**Steps to Reproduce:**
1. Using Xamarin Studio on Mac.
2. File -> New iOS Single View project
3. Then, Add New Project to the solution a choose a Extension -> WatchKit App
4. Press Play/Start to debug on iPhone 5/5s/6/6plus simulator. (Make sure to show your Watch face, Hardware -> External Displays -> Apple Watch)
Xamarin Studio just continues to show waiting to connect to the debugger and it never launches the WatchKit App.
Attached are the system logs from the simulator showing some errors/assertion while trying to launch the test project.
The WatchKit app should show on the watch part of the simulator.

I can't reproduce this, even with the exact same versions of XI and XS.
Can you reproduce if you clean your solution and "Reset Contents & Settings" in the simulator? That should get you to a pristine state like the first build.
@John, were you able to reproduce if you follow my suggestion from comment #2?
