I have built an app which is using core bluetooth functionality of Xamarin.iOS. This app establish bluetooth connection with a third party BLE device.
The issue is in the CoreBluetooth.CBCentralManager.ScanForPeripherals. I know what services the device is advertising however, after the compiler execute the ScanForPeripherals with services method - it does not call back Central Manager.Discovered Peripheral delegate event. I tested the device with LightBlue app from app store just to make sure that the bluetooth device is actually advertising the services and the result was "Yes". Could someone help here to troubleshoot this issue ?
FYI - I have read the suggested already reported bugs. But, no one seems to be helpful with the app.
It sounds like you could be mixing .NET events and ObjC delegates inside the same code . The former is implemented using the later so mixing them is not supported.
If this is not the case then please attach a test case so we can duplicate your issue. Thanks.
Can you try this project and see if it works for you: https://github.com/rolfbjarne/bleexplorer? It's known to work with other devices.
