Description renan jegouzo 2015-07-27 14:16:02 UTC
I have a call stack corruption on Android:

http://pastebin.com/MZ4u6k8d

if I trace the code since Home.cs:109

all call are valid until:
at ../Users/renanyoy/git/aestesis-mono/alibs/Alib/Bitmap.cs:750

public Bitmap(Viewport viewport, string assetName) : this()
{
  _texture = new Texture2D(viewport, assetName);
}

the Texture2D constructor is not called, it jump on another function, in Texture2D
at Aestesis.Alib.Texture2D..ctor (Aestesis.Alib.Viewport,string) [0x0000d] in /Users/renanyoy/git/aestesis-mono/alibs/Alib/Texture2D.cs:1770

[Texture2D.cs]
1767:	public void SaveAsJpeg (Stream stream)
1768:	{
1769:     this.SaveAsJpeg (stream, 0.95f);
1770:   }

Could you please provide a complete repro? I suspect that this is a C# compiler and/or debugger bug; a complete sample would help narrow down the actual location.
Comment 2 renan jegouzo 2015-07-29 16:16:26 UTC
I don't have any idea on how making a repro.. it's on an old project that builds on many platforms. I didn't compile it on android since some time.
the project still working on other platforms..

are you interested by some logs ?
Comment 3 renan jegouzo 2015-07-30 05:30:49 UTC
the only direction I can see it's there are an app and a DLL in the call stack, and all the app call stack is OK, the entry point into the DLL is OK too, but after inside the DLL, the call stack suxx

Would it be possible for you to share the failing app project or stripped down version, which still reproduces the issue?
Comment 5 Radek Doulik 2015-08-08 14:03:23 UTC
@joao: I will be 2 weeks on FTO so reassigning to you meanwhile as it might be runtime issue. I guess without repro project we cannot do anything, but maybe it rings a bell?
