RESOLVED FIXED

Description Sebastien Pouliot 2012-02-02 16:41:38 UTC
MonoDevelop 2.8.6.4

I can't start the profiler anymore. MD gives me a dialog with:

Can't remove file /var/folders/88/xs828t710rxdx5bq71mt_xr40000gp/T/profiler-output.mlpd

System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path "/var/folders/88/xs828t710rxdx5bq71mt_xr40000gp/T/profiler-output.mlpd".

I agree with the not found exception - "/var/folders/88/" does not exists. Now why does it want to remove this unexisting file ?

HeapShot does start afterward but it's impossible to take a snapshot (button grayed) using it. Note that it shows the invalid path in its status bar.

Re-starting MD did not help :(

Fixed in fcf8be34.

A workaround would be to delete the project's userprefs file.
