First thing we noticed on this bug is that the version used is the wrong one.
It should be:
Xamarin 3.11.774.0 (d6c2770)

Which comes from c5sr3 branch, and not 3.11.774.0 (1a638f7).

I'm verifying the bug with the right build to be sure it's not present there, please see if you can repro it with version 3.11.774.0 (d6c2770) on your side.

Thanks

I was able to repro it, if the solution doesn't have the right Companion App ID. If the Watch App has the right Companion App Id, then everything works as expected.

We'll take a look at what can be going wrong there.

Thanks

I have checked this issue with latest C5CR3 build (XI 8.10.4.10 + XVS 3.11.785) and observed that VS is getting hang when try to deploy Watchkit application on Simulator.

Xamarin.VisualStudio_3.11.785_d8dbdd92fcd40d7b99d600ea3f9ffa6f8a23742d

This issue is exist with VS 2015, however its working fine with VS 2013 and VS 2010.

I have checked this issue with C5SR3 builds of XVS 3.11.808 + XI 8.10.4.23, using VS 2015 and observed that this issue is working fine. Now VS does not hang when we deploy and launch watchkitcatalog application on simulator.

Thanks
