In a Windows 8.1 app or Windows Phone 8.1 app project, two-way bindings for a switch do not work after app launch. When the app first starts, the setter for the bound property is called, but after the UI is displayed, clicking the switch does not fire the property setter. The code works as is on Android, iOS, and WinPhone Silverlight 8.0.
## Steps to reproduce
1. Load the attached test project into Visual Studio
2. Set the Windows 8.1 or the Windows Phone 8.1 app project to be the startup project.
3. Deploy the app using Debug
4. Note that breakpoints for the setter for the boolean property bound to the switches are called while app is loading. Keep clicking "Continue" until the UI is displayed.
5. When the UI is displayed, click a switch.
Expected result: Property setter breakpoint will be hit.
Actual result: breakpoint is not hit.
Tested with Xamarin Forms 1.4.3

I'm seeing the breakpoint in the setter of MyBool hit when I toggle the switch from the UI on emulators and my physical device. Does this happen for you on all your devices and emulators?
Hmm, I only tested the WinPhone 8.1 app on a WinPhone 8.1 emulator. The Windows 8.1 app obviously was tested on local machine. I saw the issue on the Winphoen 8.1 emulator and on the Windows 8.1 app running on the local machine. Perhaps try the Windows 8.1 app?
Been reading the comments on the log and would add this as a comment
The UI issue is with 8.1 store and Phone 8.1 devices and emulators
The issue is NOT seen with the Droid version on either emulator or device
The issue does NOT occur on the IOS emulator - I have not tested the actual device
this is NOT an issue with the silverlight 8.1 version of the emulator ( which is the same emulator, ) which points to the universal DLL's
The setters are called on satrtup when the view model creates the data
There seem to be a couple of Random getter calls after the setters ( not sure of the call stack here )
I have tried this with the latest and previous versions of the forms and it reacts the same way.
Hope this helps ?
