RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1488

Description Matthias Fuchs 2012-01-29 13:50:37 UTC
I added a "resources" subfolder to the project and inserted some png files. In set the build actions to "content" and the files are correctly copied into the app bundles Contents/Resources/resources (!) folder. When I open up the XIB from MonoDevelop, Xcode 4 allows me to select the files, e.g. in a button's settings.

IB also previews the icons correctly.

But when I launch the app, the images/icons are not loaded - ergo the button's don't have icons but instead a log message "file not found" is printed in the log panel.

Also when I copy a icns file to a Resources/<subfolder> and enter this into the Info.plist it doesn't work. If I move the file directly to Resources and change the path in the Info.plist it works ...
Maybe this is a bug in Cocoa or how the files are loaded?
