Reopening. Crash log is attached.
Comment 6 Sebastien Pouliot 2015-06-25 18:11:37 UTC
From crash log:

1   libobjc.A.dylib               	0x35f73c8b objc_exception_throw + 38
2   UIKit                         	0x2beffa09 -[UIStoryboard instantiateViewControllerWithIdentifier:] + 480
3   iOSAMX                        	0x00312c8c wrapper_managed_to_native_ObjCRuntime_Messaging_IntPtr_objc_msgSend_IntPtr_intptr_intptr_intptr + 108
4   iOSAMX                        	0x002e8c00 UIKit_UIStoryboard_InstantiateViewController_string (UIStoryboard.g.cs:107)
5   iOSAMX                        	0x00064ca0 iOSAMX_UIPanelWelcomeScreenController__ViewDidLoadm__0_object_System_EventArgs (UIPanelWelcomeScreenController.cs:87)

That's a native (iOS) exception (line #1) that happens when instantiating a view controller from a storyboard (line #2). Most likely the provided name (in line #5) does not exists in the storyboard.
Comment 7 Sebastien Pouliot 2015-06-25 18:17:34 UTC
Line #87 is

> var view = AppDelegate.Storyboard.InstantiateViewController("UIMapViewController2") as UIMapViewController2;

The storyboard file for the iPhone has a UIMapViewContoller2

The storyboard file for the iPad DOES _NOT_ have a UIMapViewContoller2. Your crash occurs on an iPad...
