If I have a class which contains an internal class and I try to create an instance of this class as if it were a generic type, the compiler error is not really helpful.
public class Test
public static void Main(string args)
NonGeneric dummy = new NonGeneric<string>();
internal class NonGeneric
Compiling this yields the error message
test.cs(7,28): error CS0118: `Test.NonGeneric' is a `type' but a `type' was expected
which is far from a correct description of the error.
I forgot to mention: Mono version is 2.10.2
Already fixed in master
Ah, I didn't know that. Thanks.
