RESOLVED FIXED

Description PJ 2012-01-25 16:28:55 UTC
After TweetStation crashed (as part of reproducing the test case for bug #3051), subsequent attempts to debug the application start TweetStation on device, but the debugger and the application never talk to each other.

This is what appears on the device console:

unknown com.apple.debugserver-64[733] <Warning>: Got a connection, waiting for debugger instructions for task "(null)".
unknown com.apple.debugserver-64[733] <Warning>: 1 [02dd/1303]: error: ::read ( 4, 0x2ff019d4, 1024 ) => -1 err = Bad file descriptor (0x00000009)
unknown com.apple.debugserver-64[726] <Warning>: 1 [02d6/0303]: error: ::read ( 4, 0x2fe614b0, 1024 ) => 0 err = Bad file descriptor (0x00000009)
unknown mobile_installation_proxy[724] <Error>: main: Could not receive request from host.

This happens repeatedly, even if the application is manually killed on the device.

One workaround is to force a rebuild and an upload.

Sometimes after a few attempts, it recovers from this condition.

I can't reproduce this, I just crashed Tweetstation 10 times in a row and every time the debugger attached fine in the next run.

Can you add -v -v -v -v to the additional mtouch arguments, and check if anything is printed to the iOS Device Log when the debugger fails to attach?
