Repro Project

*** Overview ***
When an Activity’s ActionBar.SetDisplayHomeAsUpEnabled() and ActionBar.SetHomeButtonEnabled() are set to true, the app icon does not always display the left arrow indicating that it can navigate up.

*** Steps to Reproduce ***
1. Run the attached repro project
2. Note that the app icon in the top left displays the arrow
3. Press “Open Page 3”
4. Go back to the previous page

*** Actual Results ***
When the previous page is navigated back to, the app icon no longer has the arrow even though it did when the app originally launched.

*** Expected Results ***
The app icon has the arrow because ActionBar.SetDisplayHomeAsUpEnabled(true) has been set for the activity.

We override the setting you are providing here to implement navigation functionality. Sorry :/
Comment 2 Chris Riesgo 2015-05-27 20:21:09 UTC
@Jason - in this scenario, is there a work around to make the back arrow show? Or a code change to respect the intention of showing a back arrow when there are views on this or some other navigation stack?
