Description Mike 2015-05-22 12:48:11 UTC
Tested on Nexus 7 tablet

Steps to reproduce:
1. Hold device in a portrait layout.
2. Tap a DatePicker to open the dialog.
3. Rotate device to a landscape layout.
4. Dialog remains in a portrait layout.

Expectation:
Dialog changes from using the portrait layout to using the landscape layout.

Notes:
The DatePicker uses the correct layout when the dialog isn't open during an orientation change.

I cannot reproduce the issue on the latest version of Forms on a Nexus tablet. If you are still seeing the issue please attach a reproduction and I'll try again.

Warm regards,
Xamarin Forms Team

Chris - I used the project you attached to reproduce.

I'm running android 5.0.2 on the Nexus 7. The issue also exists on a Nexus 9 running android 5.0.1

Changing status to confirmed.
Comment 6 Paul DiPietro [MSFT] 2015-07-31 11:00:02 UTC
This appears to occur specifically on Lollipop; emulators reflect this bug as well and it was also replicated on an S5 which is presently running it.
Comment 7 Jason Smith [MSFT] 2015-09-02 02:04:56 UTC
Should be fixed in 1.5.1-pre1
Comment 8 Parmendra Kumar 2015-10-07 11:38:55 UTC
I have checked this issue with Xamarin.Forms 1.5.1-pre1 and its working fine.\

Hence closing this issue.
