Description John Hardman 2015-05-21 05:28:26 UTC
On WinPhone and Android, the WebView control re-sizes automatically (within a ContentPage) if the device changes orientation. However, on iOS the re-size does not happen. The behaviour should be consistent across the different platforms, with the re-sizing happening.

We'd be happy to help you resolve this issue. Please help us by attaching a reduced reproduction to the bug by starting with a clean Xamarin.Forms project and adding just the code necessary to demonstrate the issue. If you'd do this for us we would very much appreciate it. If you are able to reproduce the issue without modifying the platform specific projects that would eliminate a number of possibilities and likely expedite a resolution.

Warm regards,
Xamarin Forms Team

The Forms Gallery sample demonstrates this problem - just select WebView from the menu when running it on iOS.

I am building both the Forms Gallery sample and my own app (which also shows the problem) using Xamarin.Forms version 1.4.2.6359

I have checked this issue with Xamarin.Forms 1.4.3 and observed that WebView does not resize on iOS when change orientation. To reproduce this issue I have followed FormsGallery sample.
