Thanks for the report and the nice details in the attachment! Based on a quick glance at the build log in the attachment, I believe this is most likely a duplicate of Bug 29839.

That bug should be fixed on the current Alpha and Beta versions of XamarinVS (currently 3.11.576).

@nathan, if either:

(a) The workaround of using `${TargetDir}` rather than `${ProjectDir}` helps (Bug 29839, comment 2)

or

(b) You get a chance to try the Beta/Alpha version of XamarinVS, and that solves the problem.

@Brenden, looks like a dup.  I used the ${TargetDir} workaround... would like to stay on stable.
