Description punitasdf 2015-05-13 15:18:28 UTC
I have manjaro linux 8.0.2 something... I have installed latest version of MonoDevelop which is 5.7.1.

I am facing lot of issues with debugging, building and running application normally. Other than that I have installed NUnit framework for testing but I am unable to run the test cases smoothly. I mean only build is successful and when I try to run the option is disabled, only option available under Run menu is Start Without Debugger.

It is completely impossible to debug the application, It worked magically only once then never again. It also wont work with Unit test. I tried right click select "debug" putting breakpoints at the beginning of the test case but nothing seem to be working.

When it comes to realizing the full potential of .NET framework - Microsoft did a great job of providing an Editor will full of features and to the most, this marketing strategy clicked for them as even if it was back then an immature framework but people loved it because of this greatest editor VisualStudio.

Something no matter how precious it is, it is of no worth if one can't make any use of it.

I am very frustrated, apologies for being a bit harsh but that is the fact.

Best Regards,

agreed. agreed with breakpoints. product worthless crap without breakpoints working. tired of spending days getting a breakpoint to hit.

Sorry for the lack of response but this was filed in a category that is unrelated to MonoDevelop. I hope the issues you were seeing are fixed in the latest version, please reopen this in the https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=Xamarin%20Studio if you still have issues. Thanks.
