Sample and Instruments trace

## Overview

Using a MasterDetailPage with a Master that is a TabbedPage causes the app to become unresponsive to touch input and rotation after the device has been rotated in any direction 3 times.

## Steps to reproduce

1. Download the sample project (attached)
2. Build and run on any iPad simulator (iPad 2, Retina or Air)
3. Once launched, rotate the simulator in any direction more than 3 times

## Expected result

The app should continue to rotate and respond to touch input.

## Actual result

The app becomes unresponsive and CPU usage spikes to 100%.

## Notes

Included in the attachment is an Instruments trace with Activity Monitor and Spin Monitor showing the spike in CPU usage after following the steps to reproduce.

Indeed. 3 rotations on IPad locks the app. 180 deg on iPhone fails to rotate as well although it doesn't lock the app and another 90 deg works.

Should be fixed in 1.5.0-pre1
Comment 3 Parmendra Kumar 2015-08-11 09:05:08 UTC
I have checked this issue with Xamarin.Forms 1.5.0-pre1 and observed that the application always responsive after rotation.

Hence closing this issue.
