Description Stephen McConnel 2015-05-04 19:01:09 UTC
The patch (I made) several weeks ago to show thumbnail images of images files in the file chooser dialog did not dispose of the created Image objects properly. I've seen physical memory allocation in my program jump a gigabyte in one call to the file chooser that roamed around directories full of jpeg files from my camera! I have a fix for this that I'll post shortly as a pull request.

(The earlier bug report was https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=28025, with the pull request https://github.com/mono/mono/pull/1634.)

See https://github.com/mono/mono/pull/1768 for my proposed fix.
