Description Grigory (Playtika) 2015-05-03 09:08:17 UTC
I have and app written against .net, and i try to use mono linker to strip some unused code.

monolinker -o linked -x E:\Linker.xml -c skip -d "C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v4.0.30319/"

Error is following:

Failed to resolve System.Void System.Xml.Serialization.XmlTypeConvertorAttribute::.ctor(System.String)

Seems this is a some mono-specific attribute that is definitely used by my code (i target .net 4.5).

Mono JIT compiler version 4.0.1 (Visual Studio built mono)

that is defininely *NOT* used by mode code. Sorry

Okay, added -a App.exe and now everything works perfectly. My fault.

BTW, funny issue, if i have bad type names with > or < mono crashes without any useful info.
