Description xarkam 2012-01-19 06:23:16 UTC
If the solution file is in another folder and if you use the contextual menu to open the .sln file, monodevelop make infinite opening loop.

    |-proj1
       |-csproj1
    |-proj2
       |-csproj2

       |-sln file

Better translation:
If the solution file is in another folder and if you use the context menu to
open the file. sln, monodevelop opens an infinite loop

Which context menu? The context menu in Windows Explorer?
Comment 3 xarkam 2012-05-02 08:12:49 UTC
Yes, by the context menu in Windows Explorer.
Comment 4 xarkam 2012-05-02 08:23:20 UTC
I tested the latest stable version: 2.8.8.4

The request to open a file. Sln in monodevelop via the contextual menu does two things:
monodevelop open but empty
Visual Studio is launched and opens the .sln asked by the context menu for monodevelop.

I make a new ticket for this.

This bug was targeted for a past milestone, moving to the next active milestone.

Closing this as not reproducible as I cannot repro in newer XS
