One of our customers is facing this issue with MasterPage where the background color is not set based on the Windows Phone Dark/Light Theme.
When you create a Xamarin Forms app with a Master-Detail page, the 'Master'
page background doesn't honour the Windows Phone themes.
So, if I change to a light theme, the popup Master page has a black
background (instead of a white background), and therefore all text is
1) Create a new Xamarin Forms PCL solution in Visual Studio
2) Set the MainPage in the App class to a new MaterDetailPage - with a new
ContentPage as Master, and a new ContentPage as Detail.
3) Run app in Windows Phone - LIGHT THEME - and click on the button that
invokes the Master popup
You will notice that its black on black - which is incorrect, it should
have a white background.
