Description PJ 2012-01-17 11:00:16 UTC
I was just trying to comment out some code that already had a comment block in it. The behavior at the moment is that the new comment block stops at the end of the first nested block comment.

I checked in with devs and it was said this was the expected behavior, but I figured I would at least mention it here under enhancements.

Thanks yall!

this is something that can not be fixed, since this is part of how the languages that we support have been specified.

I always found it annoying - thats why we actually HAVE a solution for it.

You just need to:

1) Select the region of text you want to comment.
2) Right click
3) Select "Toggle Line Comments" in the context menu.

-> then single line comments are used to comment out the code block. That will work in c#. You can uncomment a commented code block with the same operation btw.
