Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Mono 2.10.8, MonoDevelop 2.8.6.1, and MonoTouch 5.1.2 
2. Launch the MonoDevelop.
3. Click on "Start New Solution" link.
4. Select C# >> MonoTouch >> iPhone >> Utility Application.
5. Or Select C# >> MonoTouch >> iPhone Storyboard >> Utility Application.
5. Enter the Name and click on Ok button.
6. BUild the application.
7. Observe that 2 error appears and the solution does not build successfully.

Actual result:

iPhone/iPhone Storyboard Utility application does not build successfully, error appears. Refer to the screenshot for the error.

Expected result: 

iPhone/iPhone Storyboard Utility application should build successfully, without giving any error.

Similar issue also exists when Build the iPad/iPad Storyboard Utility application. Below is the link of the test case for the same:

Jeff,

This is a regression that your code introduced.   Not sure what needs to happen for the code to build, but default templates are no longer working.

fixed in git master and backported to the 2.8.6 branch

Fix is live in 2.8.6.2. Closing bug.
