There is a major security issue when downgrading Android SDK from 24.x to 23.0.2, as described in the previous bug fixes.
In the case of Xamarin mac OS version, this implies the need to lower security level in order to allow manual
downgrading to a previous version, thus making impossible to run further applications like emulator a.s.o. from
the desired android version (23.0.2)
I'm sorry, but I don't understand this bug.

What security issue? I don't see anything referring to security issues in the Android SDK Tools page:

I have no idea what this even means. What are you talking about?
