Description Cody Beyer (MSFT) 2015-03-31 18:35:11 UTC
### Description

It appears that the first time that a listview is displayed, it does not completely tie the height to include all of its contents, which restricts it to only showing the first item

### Video

-----iOS [Does Not Work]

-----Android [Works]

### Test Case

https://www.dropbox.com/s/45lhim43qnzilsj/SampleProject_GregBishop.zip?dl=0

### Steps to Reproduce

1. Open linked test case
2. Deploy to iOS Simulator
3. Type c into the search box
4. Notice only one hit returned
5. Delete the c
6. Type c again

### Expected Results

Step 3 and 6 should have the same results

### Actual Results

Steps 6 has far more entries than step 3

We are also getting this issue after following the steps mentioned in bug description, first time when enter c in search field a list view is not displayed completely. Hence marking this as Confirmed.

Screencast for the same: http://www.screencast.com/t/QIFtg2uq

However with Android its working fine.

Do you know which version of Android you were using to test that, because the issue is still there for us in our Android project (Api level 19 I think).
Comment 3 Brendan Zagaeski (Xamarin Team, assistant) 2015-05-14 01:55:00 UTC
Both of the test case links in comment 0 are currently 404'ing.

Marking as NEEDINFO because the bug will need to be updated with a valid link to a test case to allow the Xamarin.Forms developers to investigate.

repro project

I am attaching a new sample project. I was able to reproduce the issue with Forms 1.4.1.6349.

However after updating to Forms 2.3.4.247 this is working as expected. Now when the ListView first appears its height fills the entire screen.
