RESOLVED FIXED

Description corrado 2012-01-10 02:49:38 UTC
I always have some problems:

I cannot:
- Select text with ctrl + arrow keys right or left
- Move cursor between words with Ctrl + arrow right or left
- If I select the text with the mouse, then I can not remove the selection with the arrow keys left or right;
- if I press ESC the editor lock (with blinking block cursor) and cannot write in.

In xcode4 editor OR simple text editor everything works properly...

thanks Corrado

I checked the use cases:

What you mean with ctrl + arrow keys ?

If you really mean Ctrl + Arrow this is correct - that switches between the desktops for me.

I assume that you mean "Option/Alt + Arrow" or "Cmd + Arrow" - both are working for me.

- Selection + left/right is working for me
- ESC doesn't lock for me

I would assume that it has something to do with the setup. Which mono version are you using ?

Can you go to the monodevelop about dialog and copy & paste the "version info" ? That may help me to track that issue.

It sounds like you have vi mode enabled in preferences.

Ok, thanks. I disable and all goes fine.
The vi mode makes me crazy...
