This binding is dependent on a bunch of work to support extensions (binding, building, packaging, execution). This is a major feature on our roadmap, that we plan on tackling as soon as resources become available, but i don't have clarity right now to give you a timetable.

This was done in C8, I just neglected to close the bug. Try it out, and feel free to report any issues.
