Description Jon Douglas [MSFT] 2015-03-12 13:54:01 UTC
*Description

The NavigationDrawer does not hide once a user has double-tapped on a navigation item. Instead the NavigationDrawer is still present and will still act as normally(I.E switching pages behind the scenes when single tapped).

Attached are a video and sample reproduction demonstrating this issue on Xamarin.Forms 1.4.0.X

*Use Case

It seems that this could be an issue with potential cases where a user might fat-finger selecting an item and then confuse them as to why the NavigationDrawer is still open when they made a selection. If they then try to select the same item again, it will not hide unless forced using a swipe gesture or hitting the NavigationDrawer Icon.

Reproduction Link:

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open the NavigationDrawer
2. DoubleTap on any Item such as "Home" or "About" (Note that you will have to tap fairly fast)
3. SingleTap on any Item and notice that the Page does change in the background, but NavigationDrawer is still in a "Show" state therefore covering the application.
