RESOLVED FIXED

Description Brandon Perry 2012-01-07 22:03:07 UTC
http://www.ruby-forum.com/topic/1864531

The specific issue is that the regex:
(?-six:\A[\s]*(=|!=|>|<|>=|<=|~>)?[\s]*([0-9]+(\.[0-9a-zA-Z]+)*)[\s]*\z)
Does not match ">= 0" in mono but does match on .NET

We don't have a maintainer for the regex code, so this might take a while to get fixed.
Comment 4 Brandon Perry 2012-01-21 14:27:27 UTC
Hi, can you point me in the general direction of the affected code? I need this bug fixed and can get a patch for you.
Comment 5 Zoltan Varga 2012-01-21 15:03:33 UTC
The regular expression code is in the mcs/class/System/System.Text.RegularExpressions directory. Its pretty complex code.
Comment 6 Marek Safar 2016-04-16 08:53:00 UTC
We are using now reference source code so this issue should be fixed. Pleas reopen if you can still repro it with Mono 4.4
