Description Cody Beyer (MSFT) 2015-03-01 13:19:03 UTC
### Description

When updating a DatePicker control, the value of the bound object is set continuously as you interact with the control. Other pickers do not update the value of the bound object until "Done" or similar is hit

### Steps to Reproduce

1. Add DatePicker control to project
2. Bind its value to some object
3. Edit the value at runtime

### Expected Results

The Value should not modify until Done is hit

### Actual Results

The value is modified as you edit

This has been changed in master to make all controls consistent.

I have checked this issue with xamarin.forms.1.4.3.6364-pre3 and still getting same behavior as mentioned in comment #1.

Hence reopen this issue.

Please let me know if I have missed anything.

Comment 4 Rui Marinho 2015-07-06 10:06:48 UTC
The other controls/pickers were change to behave like this one. So this control didn't change but the others don't wait for done now
Comment 5 Parmendra Kumar 2015-07-06 10:18:59 UTC
Thanks @Rui for clarification,

Could you please let me know what should I have to check to verify this issue?

Thanks.
Comment 6 Rui Marinho 2015-07-06 10:31:52 UTC
1. Add DatePicker and Picker control to project
2. Bind there values to some objects in a viewmodel
3. Edit the values on the pickers at runtime

The Values should modify when you select a new value in the picker even without pressing done.
Comment 7 Parmendra Kumar 2015-07-06 10:46:12 UTC
Thanks @Rui for provide me steps.

I have checked this issue with steps mentioned in comment #6 and I am getting same behavior as mentioned in comment #6.

Hence closing this issue.
