this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
1. Create a new Mono for Android project within MonoDevelop
2. Within the Solution panel, expand the Project\Resource\layout tree.
3. Right-click the layout folder, click Add > New File...
4. Add a .axml file:
a: The Mono for Android section doesn't have any XML/.axml entries;
perhaps we should add one?
b: Select the XML > Empty XML File type, and enter a filename (Foo.axml)
At this point, the Resources\layout\Foo.axml file has a Build action of Nothing. This requires that the user manually set the build action, which is silly. :-)
Alternatively, _everything_ added under the Resources folder should have a build action of AndroidResiource, including both .xml and .axml files.
