Repo example

Discovered in Xamarin Forms 1.3.2, and 1.3.3, iOS and
reproduced it below.

If a TableView has a mixture of cells with different kinds of labels - meaning, some are just Label and others are a subclass of Label - then if any of those cells scroll off the page they may disappear.

If all of the cells use the subclass or they all use Label, then there is no issue. If the items do not scroll off the page, there is no issue.

There is no issue with Android.

Please see attached "App.cs" for a new Visual Studio Xamarin Forms solution
called BlankCell. You can interactively set the number of cells that use
regular or "custom" labels (it is an empty subclass). If either are
non-zero and the items scroll off the page, the bug is evident in iOS.

When reproducing, if using Visual Studio template, be sure to upgrade NuGet package to 1.3.2.6316 or above to see bug.

Couple more things (I'm the original author of the repo):

In the repo, the main page labels are backwards ( i.e. "Labels" actually is number of custom labels and vice versa). Sorry about confusion.

The issue is actually worse than than just mixing labels - it is mixing any kind of layout in a ViewCell. To reproduce, modify the repo so that both the Custom and Regular cell factory methods use Label (the text can be different). Verify that no cells disappear when scrolling. Then, remove the Entry element from the Custom method - or add another element. You should see that the same bug is evident.
