I have checked this issue and able to reproduce this. To reproduce this issue I have followed the steps and instruction provided in bug description.

After deploying the application on simulator, I expand "State" drop down and attempt to select a state, I observed that list does not respond to tap and user is not able to select options from drop down menu. Please refer the screencast: http://www.screencast.com/t/IoRpov3mPN

Additional Information: Getting same behaviour with iOS device (iPhone 6+ Version:8.1.2).

Comment 2 Rolf Bjarne Kvinge [MSFT] 2015-02-10 06:41:22 UTC
There are several warnings printed in the application output related to layout, which may very well be the cause for the problems, in particular since they are printed when the dropdown menu is tapped.

My suggestion would be to fix these warnings first.

	Probably at least one of the constraints in the following list is one you don't want. Try this: (1) look at each constraint and try to figure out which you don't expect; (2) find the code that added the unwanted constraint or constraints and fix it. (Note: If you're seeing NSAutoresizingMaskLayoutConstraints that you don't understand, refer to the documentation for the UIView property translatesAutoresizingMaskIntoConstraints)
(
    "<NSIBPrototypingLayoutConstraint:0x80b7a840 'IB auto generated at build time for view with fixed frame' V:|-(249)-[UIView:0x80b78960] (Names: '|':UIView:0x80b73580 )>",

    "<NSAutoresizingMaskLayoutConstraint:0x80bb41f0 h=--& v=--& UIView:0x80b78960.midY == + 329>"
)

Will attempt to recover by breaking constraint
