I'm on Windows 7 and trying to profile my Android app.

I click on the flag icon and it hangs the profiler for a long time and then it comes back to life but nothing seems to have happened.  No snapshots appear in the snapshots window.

What settings do you have for snapshots (in the preferences dialog)? Is it automatic snapshots?

I have it set to manual.

I tried again using Genymotion and I can get snapshots so it appears to be an issue with using a real device.  In this case a Samsung tablet.

There is a known issue with the current released Preview. When the new preview is release, please confirm that it works for you and update this bugzilla appropriately.

@jkolb@ara.com is this still an issue in the latest Preview release?

If I do not hear back in the next few days I will set the status to fixed, and we can take it from there.

I don't understand.  Has there been a new preview since 2/06?  I just downloaded whatever the latest was on the site and it's asking if I want to repair my install so I'm assuming I'm running the latest preview.
