RESOLVED ANSWERED

Description Rob DeRosa 2015-01-21 22:37:47 UTC
Runtime error when hud.Show(true) is called in an iOS unified project.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Create a new iOS unified iPhone Single View project
2) Add the following code to your ViewDidLoad below the base call (or copy and paste sample code from component doc):

var hud = new MTMBProgressHUD(View) {
	LabelText = "Getting your location...",
	RemoveFromSuperViewOnHide = true
};

hud.Show(true);

3) Run project in simulator, look at output log

Comment 1 Matthew Leibowitz 2015-01-22 04:56:31 UTC
I was not able to reproduce this error.
This seems to be having a problem loading the IOHIDLib library - I don't think this is directly related to the component.

Does the project compile and run if you comment out the code? and if you remove the reference entirely?
Comment 2 Bill Holmes 2015-01-22 09:12:42 UTC
I believe that your test program may be missing 'View.AddSubview (hud);'. Below is the full example that I added to my ViewDidLoad method.

var hud = new MTMBProgressHUD(View) {
	LabelText = "Getting your location...",
	RemoveFromSuperViewOnHide = true
};

View.AddSubview (hud);

hud.Show(true);
Comment 3 Bill Holmes 2015-01-22 09:13:52 UTC
I am thinking that the messages that you are seeing in the output window are not related to this issue.
Comment 4 Rob DeRosa 2015-01-22 12:19:31 UTC
Apologies - I was missing the AddSubView line. I was certain I copied and pasted the sample code but apparently missed a line.

Sorry for the false alarm.
