System.Exception: Could not initialize an instance of the type 'MonoTouch.Foundation.NSUrl': the native 'initWithString:' method returned nil.

Apple's NSURLl init* methods returns `nil` when the value it's given is invalid.

A .NET constructor cannot return `null` so that's why you're getting this exception.

My guess is that

> Device.OpenUri (Uri);

converts the Uri onto an NSUrl, but .NET Uri accept more cases than Apple.

So something in:

> string.Format("mailto:{0}?subject={1}&body={2}", NsaEmail, subject,body))

is not accepted as an NSUrl by iOS.

You might want to try/experiment what's possible with iOS (it changes a bit on some iOS version). Hopefully you'll only have a few characters that are not accepted (by Apple) and needs some extra encoding.
