Description Chris Hamons 2015-01-05 16:33:25 UTC
We need templates written for F# Unified projects.

Jeff suggested that this was Dave's area.
Comment 1 Rajneesh Kumar 2015-01-06 05:14:59 UTC
We are not getting Mac Unified projects under F# in XS. Hence marking this as Confirmed.

Comment 2 Dave Thomas 2015-01-06 07:06:16 UTC
I will be doing Application, Empty and Library.

The others require some xib stuff so that will come much later when the F# designer integration for ios has been completed. This will also mean templates for ios can be written with designer integration in mind.
Comment 3 Dave Thomas 2015-01-13 03:14:13 UTC
This has now been completed, msbuild task will need to filter into release cycle from maccore, md-addins before the templates will show up in the F# addin
Comment 4 Prashant manu 2015-03-02 02:41:45 UTC
We have checked with Latest master build and no F# Unified Templates are shown.

The unified templates will not be available until the F# msbuild targets are available in Xamarin.Mac
Comment 6 Chris Hamons 2015-03-02 10:10:55 UTC
^ This will be XM 2.0.
Comment 7 Chris Hamons 2015-03-13 17:12:27 UTC
Please retest w/ the cycle 5 branches. This should hopefully all have come together by now.
Comment 8 Rajneesh Kumar 2015-03-16 07:06:33 UTC
I have checked this issue with the latest build of cycle 5 branches, but I am still not able to see F# Unified Templates.
Please refer the screencast for the same: http://www.screencast.com/t/ymtk7DJoSrz

So as of now, I am reopening this issue. And please let me know if I am missing something to check this issue.

Thanks.

Comment 9 Dave Thomas 2015-03-16 12:29:23 UTC
Looks like some categories were missed on the recent new project UI, will look to get this patched shortly.
Comment 11 Dave Thomas 2015-03-23 05:36:37 UTC
The default references to mscorlib/FSharp.Core were causing this issue. By adding explicit references to the template this no longer occurs.

Fixed in master.
Comment 12 Dave Thomas 2015-03-23 08:07:57 UTC
Sent PR to 5.9 branch too
Comment 13 Rajneesh Kumar 2015-03-25 10:00:12 UTC
I have checked this issue with the following build of cycle 5 branches, now I am able to see F# Unified Templates.
Please refer the screencast for the same:http://www.screencast.com/t/XxztUSgc6jBa

This issue has been fixed, hence I am closing this issue.
Thanks.
