Description Ian 2014-12-22 13:08:24 UTC
I am trying to assign icons. The Asset Catalog way seems to be broken (see last bug)

When I try to add an icon the old way, the icon doesn't appear.

Today, I have checked this issue with:
VS 2013
Windows 8
XVS 3.9.221
X.iOS 8.6.0.45
Xcode 5.1

I am successfully able to add iOS icon in App Spotlight and Settings Icons.
screencast for the same: http://www.screencast.com/t/swRk7AKQK

Please let us know, if I have missed anything to reproduce this issue.

Thanks.

To reproduce the issue, check in the full solution into Team Foundation Server. Then try it. It appears to be related to the locked file status of the projects and solution. Xamarin gives no warnings.

Comment 4 Emanuel 2017-05-31 21:48:48 UTC
Hi Ian,

We are not longer supporting setting icons on the Property Pages (starting on XVS 4.5, in parity with current Xcode 8.3 approach).
This should be configured using the Assets Catalog. Please, let us know if you continue facing issues when using the Assets editor.

Marking as resolved/answered.

Thanks for reporting.
