I have checked this issue and I am able to reproduce the reported behavior.

Steps to reproduce :

1. Open Xamarin.Forms sample FormsGallery
2. Build and run the solution
3. Scroll down until you see "masterdetailpage" option
4. Click on "masterdetailpage"
5. Tap MasterDetail button fast enough on Windows Phone/emulator.

When I tap master-detail button very fast on device/emulator. I observed that I am getting following exception

>System.InvalidOperationException was unhandled by user code
> HResult=-2146233079
> Message=Element is already the child of another element.
