Incorrect orientation with iOS 8.x

Description:
When project supported device orientations are set to "Landscape Left" and "Landscape Right", iPad version iOS8.x (Device and Simulator) will only display "Landscape Left". When simulator/device is rotated to "Landscape Right", the view will be upside down on the simulator/device. If you use iPad version iOS7.x or 6.x, the view will present properly in both "Landscape Left" and "Landscape Right".

Reproduce:
Using attached application.
Run application on any iPad with iOS 8.x. Rotate the device. The view will not rotate with the device.
Run application on any iPad with iOS 7.x or 6.x. Rotate the device. The view will rotate as expected.

I have checked this issue and able to reproduce the reported behavior "Orientation on iOS8.x does not handle rotation as expected on iPad" . To reproduce this issue I have followed the sample application and instruction provided in bug description. I have checked this issue on device and simulator and observed that different behavior.

Steps I followed:

1. Open attached sample application in XS.
2. Deploy it on iOS 8.1 iPad.
3. Rotate it to "Landscape Right" and Landscape Left.

Actual Result: Observed that view will be change clock wise in both case.

While with iPad 7.1 when user rotate to "LandscapeRight", The view change Anti-clockwise. However, when user rotate to "LandscapeLeft", The view change clockwise.

Additional Information: User is not able to change the view on iOS 8.1 iPad simulator. However its working fine on iOS 6.1 iPad Simulator. Please refer the screencast for observing what is going on.

Screencast(iPad 8.1): http://www.screencast.com/t/nCb8UbfFbL
Screencast(iPad 6.1): http://www.screencast.com/t/UGhmLsVh4hr

And please let me confirmed that is this the same behavior you are experiencing. If no then please let me know that what I am missing to reproduce this issue or What steps should I follow to reproduce this issue?.

Please let me know if I am missing anything ?

That's exactly the problem, you have well reproduced.

Just more information:
in IOS8, if you rotate "left" twice (with simulator or Ipad), the view not rotate and is upside down (the problem repoduced). But if you press the home key and click again on Application icon, now the view is on right way.

@ Giancarlo, Thanks a lot for the confirmation of issue.

As per comment 2, I have checked this issue again and observed the same behavior , hence changing its status NEEDINFO to CONFIRMED. Here is the screencast for the same.

Xamarin.iOS does not really interfere here, so I suspect this is a bug in Apple's SDK.

I am unable to reproduce this issue in Xcode 6.3, full details below:
